Nutty date bites

Using nature’s candy, these moreish date bites will satisfy sweet cravings and give you energy.

Ingredients

  • 200 g pitted dates
  • 110 g raw unsalted peanuts
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  • Start by softening your dates by soaking them for about 10 minutes in hot water.
  • Place the dates, peanuts and a pinch of sea salt in a food processor and blend on a high until the mix starts to come together and form a ball. 
  • Scoop out a tablespoon at a time and roll into small balls. The mixture should make about 12 balls. 
  • Place in a container and keep in the fridge to enjoy when you need a pick-me-up.

Tweaks and tips: You can use any nuts you fancy, or a mix – we love adding almonds and cashews.
