This tuna pasta bake is a quick and easy dinner, low in fat and doesn’t compromise on taste!

Ingredients

  • 300 g wholemeal pasta
  • 1/2 medium broccoli chopped
  • 1 tin sweetcorn in water
  • 1 red pepper chopped
  • 200 g tinned tuna drained
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried herbs
  • 60 g cheddar cheese grated

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 190 degrees C / 375 degrees F / Gas 5.
  • Cook pasta to the packet instructions. When it has a couple of minutes left, add the broccoli to the pot. Drain and transfer the pasta and broccoli to a baking dish.
  • Add sweetcorn, pepper, tuna, tomatoes, and mixed herbs to the dish and mix well. 
  • Sprinkle over the grated cheese and bake for 15 mins until the cheese is golden.

Notes

Tweaks and tips: Add as many different vegetables as you like – spinach or kale pack a punch of nutrients and colour!
